Café, jus d'orange pressé, croissant, beurre, confiture, pain au chocolate. At a sidewalk cafe on a Sunday morning, listening to the bells of Notre Dame. Or, at the Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais, served in your room or on your own petit balcon, from 7 am until noon.
How very civilized. How very delicious. How very French. (all by Georgianna)
You have sold my heart with this blog , your images speak volumes . Beautiful. Just Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNot only do you take us to another place but another time. A time where all is fresh and beautiful. What a delicious post. Thank you! This may be my new favorite.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I have looked at Caron de Beaumarchais SO many times when planning travels, and am now pretty much sold (D tells me that I have to take him to Paris someday, and CdB has just moved to the top of the list!).

So happy to have found your beautiful blog, and I'll add it to my blog list! There was a link on Classiq blog to you and what a lovely gift! I am the artist and creator of the Ooh La Frou Frou Collection card line and it's accompanying blog. The card line features eight illustrated city girls and the blog is pure fantasy about their "lives" in the city. One of the illustrated girls, Aimee, is crazy for Paris. Come drop by if you have the chance ... love to have you!

Can't start a new day in Paris any better than croissants on the balcony. I've always considered staying at Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais, and now here it is in your photos! Good choice, would you say???
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone! Debi, the Caron de Beaumarchais is so charming – the rooms are trés petite but very comfortable. The location is fabulous, too. I'd wanted to stay there for years and we loved it. – g
